Travellers are being forced to cancel Easter travel bookings because of a backlog at HM Passport Office which is delaying renewals. Some passengers have been left hundreds of pounds out of pocket because their new passports failed to arrive before their departure date.

Ukraine says that a second round of ceasefire talks with Russia had not yielded the results Kyiv hoped for, but the sides had discussed humanitarian corridors and agreed to speak again. Both sides said they wanted a possible ceasefire for evacuating civilians through humanitarian corridors.
